Boyd Reimnitz requests a six foot yellow curb on either side of the driveway located at 509 West 3rd.

Request For Street Closures For City of Mitchell's Veteran's Park Dedication Ceremony

Request to close the 100blk N. Main and the 100blk of West 1st on Saturday, May 26th, 2018 from 4:30am to 2:00pm for the City of Mitchell's Veteran's Park Dedication Ceremony.

Mitchell Main Street & Beyond Requests Parade Permit, Street Closures & No Parking For Parade of Lights

Mitchell Main Street and Beyond would like to request a parade permit, street closures and No Parking for Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 for the Parade of Lights beginning at 6:30pm.

The following street closures and no parking beginning at 4:00pm on Tuesday, December 5th.
- Main Street - Railroad Ave through 9th Ave.; 9th Ave. from Rowley to Lawler
-100 Block of South Lawler
-200 Block of South Kimball
-Railroad Street from Rowley to Kimball
-Ash Ave from Kimball to Burr Street
-City Parking lot just north of the Depot Pub and Grill

In addition, it is requested that street lights on Main Street be turned off at 6:30pm (start time) for the duration of the parade (approximately 7:15pm).

The next Traffic Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 16th, 2017.  The time will be announced at a later date.

Committee meeting agendas are scheduled based on an estimated time of completion. If a meeting concludes prior to its scheduled time the next committee may start its proceedings early.

The City of Mitchell invites all parties to give oral or written comments. If special accommodations are required, please notify the Public Safety Department at 995-8400 at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.
