High Risk Fugitive Apprehension

Our ERU members stand ready for high-risk situations for the City of Mitchell and surrounding communities. ERU's have access to a fleet of response vehicle units.

In addition to our ERU Unit, the City of Mitchell works with the Davison County Search and Rescue Team manned by specially trained members to assist in:

Storm watch

Bomb / explosive searches

Severe weather rescue and response

Hazard material decontamination

Search for lost and wanted persons

Crime scene and disaster scene protection
