Application Process

job listings page. The Mitchell Department of Public Safety requires applicants who are seeking Patrol Officer, Communication Specialist, or Firefighter/EMT positions to take a written test. The Mitchell Department of Public Safety will set a test date shortly after the application closing date. SELECTION PROCESS Once testing results have been received; candidates will be selected to advance to the interview stage in our hiring process based upon test scores. When a candidate advances past the interview stage, they will receive a job offer contingent upon passing the following:
