Notice to those posting signs

With the upcoming political elections we want to remind the public of the city ordinances pertaining to posting of signs.  This also pertains to rummage sale signs.

Those signs posted illegally will be removed.  Any person violating the city ordinance may be subject to criminal charges, which will be a $75.00 citation and/or a court appearance.  Signs must be placed on the private property side of the sidewalks after permission has been granted from the property owner.
