Summer  Programs          Fall, Winter & Spring Programs

The goal of the Recreation Division is to provide a well-rounded schedule of programs and activities designed to meet the needs of children in the Mitchell Community and surrounding areas at an affordable price.  Basic philosophies of the Division include an "everyone plays" aspect in all youth sports programs and the provision of a safe environment that "allows kids to be kids" while providing quality instruction and skills development. SPORTSMANSHIP is a key element in all sports activities, along with character development and learning the lessons of life that sports can provide.

Scholarships Available
If the price of youth programs will put an undue burden on your family, please contact Billie Kelly or Kevin DeVries at 995-8450 to obtain a reduced rate on programs. Also, it is the policy of the department that any family who has an EBT card from Social Services automatically qualifies for 1/2 price on all programs -- just show your card when you register.
