Mitchell Activities Center is a regulation indoor hockey
arena (Home of the
Mitchell Marlins),
with open skate hours for pleasure skating.
Restrooms, concessions, locker
rooms, ice sharpening & skate rentals are
available.
Located between the Middle School and Cadwell
Park Softball Complex.

Family Season Pass: $60
-- for an 18 week season, this averages out
to about $ 3 per week! This is great for
families with more than one child, or even
with families with just one child if Mom or
Dad attend Sunday skate every now and then!
Punch Card --

--enjoy 20 skate admissions with your punch
card. A punch card can be used by
more than one person. Can be used for skate
rentals and entry fees.

2009 - Kindergarten - 3rd Grades
Mitchell Activities Center Ice Arena

grade fee:

(new hockey players participate for free)
This program
is designed for young skaters and teaches
the basics of skating. Use of
skates is included in the fee. Wear
warm clothing, and a light pair of gloves.
Bring two pair of socks to insure a good fit
with the rental skates.
Introduction to Skating - Lessons for
2nd - 5th Grades
We will be
offering 3 sessions of skating lessons for
non-hockey players this season. Each
session will consist of 3 lessons, with a
30-minute instruction followed by 20 minutes
of supervised skating time. The
lessons will be held in the center area of
the ice arena, during regular open skate.
Instructors will be members of the Parks &
Recreation Ice Arena Staff, and all are high
school hockey players. Fee is $8 per
person, which includes skates and the three
lessons. For your
convenience registration will be taken at
the Rec Center, at the Ice Arena, and
online.
