Adult Fitness Equipment and Classes

Boot Camp for Women  |  "Pulse" Personal Training

Our weight room is equipped with free weights, numerous benches, dumbbells, and Paramount weight machines. Training on the Paramount weights is provided, and can be scheduled with a Rec Center staff member by calling 995-8450 - please call during "office hours" of 8:00am - 5:00pm. The weight room is available to persons age 14 & older.


Our cardio-fitness room is equipped with 6 treadmills, 2 steppers, 2 life-cycles, 2 Reebok Body-Trek machines, 2 Life-Fitness cross trainers and 1 Aire-Dyne Cycle. Usage is on a first-come, first served basis -- simply sign in on the marker board in the cardio room. In order to meet the needs of all of our members, a 30-minute limit is placed on all machines. The cardio-fitness room is designed for adults, anyone under the age of 18 must get permission from the front desk to use the cardio equipment, based on availability of machines.


The whirlpool and steam room are located in the Adult Lounge.

   

Fitness Classes

Join our fitness classes anytime! They are ongoing and you can begin whenever it is convenient for you. You ALWAYS get your moneys worth with these classes -- as you only pay for the classes you actually attend!


AQUACIZE CLASSES:
This is a water exercise program that is for swimmers AND non-swimmers.
It's a fun way to tone up muscles using water resistance -- it'll make you feel GREAT!

 

Morning Class

Mon - Wed - Fri

7:45 am - 8:45 am

Year-Round

 

Tues - Thurs

5:15 pm - 6:15 pm

Classes start Fall 2011

BACKBUILDERS CLASSES:
Warm water exercise program for swimmers and non-swimmers with back and/or arthritic ailments. Wonderful stretching and moderate movements.

Boot Camp for Women

THIS is a class that will definitely get you going!  Join Alli as they lead the class through challenging physical goals, improving strength, cardiovascular function, and overall health.  Each participant will meet individual goals designed just for them, as well as feeling a sense of accomplishment as they are encouraged by other members of the Camp!    For more information, contact Chris Cranny or Thomas Gulledge.

Personal Training

Personal Training is provided at the Rec Center for individuals --  work with our Fitness Director Thomas Gulledge to set your personal fitness goals and design a program that will keep you motivated and on-track.  For more information on rates and programs available, contact Thomas or Chris Cranny.
