I thank you for visiting the official website of Mitchell, S.D.  Mitchell is home of the World's Only Corn Palace.  The Corn Palace is just one of the many attractions in our wonderful city.  The Prehistoric Indian Village, Dakota Discovery Museum, Lake Mitchell, the Dakota Wesleyan University campus which houses the George McGovern Library, and the many unique Main Street Shops are just waiting for you to visit.
