  1. City Administrator

    The City Administrator is under the direct supervision of the Mayor and the City Council and is responsible for the planning, organization, directing and coordination of activities in city departments.

  2. City Attorney

    The City Attorney’s office provides legal representation and advice to the City of Mitchell and its elected officials and staff.

  3. Community Services

  4. Finance Office

    The Finance Office is responsible for the administration of the City’s financial records including financial reporting, cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, and fixed asset accounting.

  5. Human Resources

    The Human Resource Department works to benefit the citizens of our community and the employees of the City in an effort to provide efficient, effective and enthusiastic service in areas such as job opportunities, public property and liability concerns, safety and risk management, and the provision of a work force that is well-trained, highly motivated, and dedicated to public service.

  6. Lakeview Golf Course

    Lakeview is a great 18-hole municipal facility. It is a challenge for all levels of golf and fun to play.

  7. Mitchell Cemetery

    The Mitchell Cemetery has 40 acres of developed and 26 acres of undeveloped plots, with 14,511 active interments.

  8. Parks, Recreation & Forestry

    The Parks and Recreation department maintains parks, lake access and green space areas.

  9. Public Safety Department

    The Mitchell Department of Public Safety is structured to coordinate emergency services and public safety staff to work together efficiently to provide the best possible service to the community.

  10. Public Works

    The Public Works Department provides engineering over-site and planning for city infrastructure projects.
